Getting to our chalets couldn't be easier.
Flying to Slovakia
The best direct flights are available to and from Bratislava through Ryanair everyday of the week from many UK destinations including London, Liverpool, Birmingham, Bristol and Edinburgh.
Alternative flights
Direct flights are also available to and from Krakow in Poland through Ryanair, Easyjet and Wizzair everyday of the week. You will require a minibus transfer to get to the chalet from Krakow they are charged at 200 Euros per 8 seater minibus each way. Please read the minibus section further down the page for more details.
Direct flights are also available to and from Vienna in Austria through Easyjet everyday of the week from London Gatwick, also through BMI on a saturday from London Heathrow, Manchester and Aberdeen. From here you can either catch a direct train to our local town of Liptovsky Mikulas from Vienna station or take a private taxi to Bratislava train station and a direct train to our local town. Getting here by train
There is a direct train from Bratislava station to Liptovsky Mikulas our local station, where you will be met by our staff and taken to the chalet in one of our private mini buses. The train journey is approx. 3 1/2 hours long and is a great way to see the beauty of Slovakia as you wind your way up into the mountains and costs approx. 15 Euros each way. A shuttle bus runs every fifteen minutes from directly outside the airport arrivals to the train station, this will cost approximately 0.60 Euros (50 pence). Bus tickets can be bought from inside the arrivals terminal at the info centre. Or take a metered taxi which should cost approximately 20 Euros (£15.00) per four seater car.
If you decide to travel by train we will provide you with a pack containing all the information you need for buying tickets and traveling by train in Slovakia. Making your journey as easy and stress free as possible.

Please be aware of what time your flight arrives into Bratislava as sometimes there may not be a train connection at the same time.
* Make sure you have Euros in cash to pay for buses in Bratislava as nothing else will be accepted. Currency exchange is available in the airport arrivals lounge.
Minibus Transfers
Transfers to and from Bratislava airport can be arranged through Ski and Snowboard Slovakia at an additional cost of 200 Euros per 8 seater van each way. The transfer time is three hours approximately. This transfer service is provided by a local transfer company that we have partnered with, please contact us for a full quote or visit his website JJ Private Hire and say that you are staying with ski and snowboard slovakia.
Transfers to and from Krakow airport can be arranged through Ski and Snowboard Slovakia at an additional cost of 200 Euros per 8 seater van each way. The transfer time is three hours approximately, but this can vary due to adverse weather conditions. This transfer service is provided by a local transfer company. Please be aware that there is no realistic alternative to a minibus transfer as trains and buses are very limited and the journey time is approx 8 – 9 hours using these services.
Transfers to and from Vienna airport can be arranged through Ski and Snowboard Slovakia at an additional cost of 250 Euros per 8 seater van each way. The transfer time is three and a half hours approximately. This transfer service is provided by a local transfer company that we have partnered with, please contact us for a full quote.
Car Hire
You could even hire a car and drive to the chalets, this is great for the self catering apartment as it will give you more freedom to explore. We recommend www.rhinocarhire.com they offer competitive rates from the leading suppliers at Bratislava and Krakow airports and can find the best deal online for you.
