With our catered holiday package your transfer to and from Poprad airport is free. This takes all the hassle out of arranging transport with transfer companies.

Flying to Slovakia

The nearest airport to our chalets is Poprad Tatry which is 55 km (40 minutes) away. This is served three times weekly Monday, Wednesday and Saturday by Sky Europe who fly out of London Luton. Check their website for availability.The earlier you book the cheaper it will be. Flights can start from as low as £1.00!

Alternatives

Direct flights are available to and from Bratislava through Ryanair or Sky Europe everyday of the week. Transfers can be arranged through Ski and Snowboard Slovakia at an additional cost of approximately. £30.00 per person each way (exchange rate dependent). The transfer time is three and a half hours approximately. This transfer service is provided by local transfer company: www.minibus.sk

Trains

There is also an excellent train service from Bratislava Hlavna Station to Liptovsky Mikulas station costing approximately 12 Euros (£10.00). From here you will be collected and taken to the chalet for free. A shuttle bus runs every fifteen minutes from directly outside the airport arrivals to the train station, this will cost approximately 0.60 Euros (50 pence). Or take a metered taxi which should cost approximately 14 Euros (£12.00) per four seater car.

Beware what time your flight arrives into Bratislava as sometimes there may not be a train at the same time.

* make sure you have Slovak Koruna (Sk) or Euros in change to pay for these services as nothing else will be accepted. Currency exchange is available at the airport.
