23rd April - New 6 man chairlift plans approved in Jasna

The plans for another 6 man chairlift in Jasna have been approved and construction work will begin this summer and the lift will be operational winter 2010/2011. The lift will start at Zahradky and serve the Snowpark and a new piste that is being created.

12th Feb - Jon Groves wins Jasna Ski the Trees Comp

Jon Groves cruises to victory in Jasnas famous Ski The Trees freeride competition.

26th September- New Airline Danube wings takes London, Manchester and Dublin to Poprad Route

Bratislava based airline Danube Wings have confirmed that they will be flying from London Luton, Manchester and dublin to Poprad this winter. They will now be the only airline flying these routes and we wish them the best for the future.

11th July- New 8 Seater Gondola construction for Jasna Otupne

The new cableway will replace the current 4-seater gondola called THE EGG OTUPNÉ - BRHLISKÁ (Tatrapoma, 1983) with a capacity of 1200 people per hour. To see the plans of this lift project follow this link Gondola Construction.

28th November - Jasna opens for the winter season

Early snow arrives and Jasna opens up for the season by offering a free day of skiing.

24th October - Snowboard Park moves to increase size

The Burton snowboard park has moved from it’s normal position at Otupne to Zahradky. This move makes for a larger park with more kickers boxes and rails in a less congested part of the mountain
